In this episode, Pastor Gordon MacDonald shares his experiences as a pastor of more than 40 years, as well as his insight for where he believes church leadership is headed. As young church leaders, we are often so quick to flock to the hip, influential pastor of the biggest mega church. But what we desperately need is to seek out the priceless wisdom offered by generations of leaders who have gone before us.
Pastor Josh discusses how leaders are different, and that those differences are welcomed, but we need to learn to develop how we lead our teams. Don’t lead those around you to become just like you, but encourage them to grow in their weaknesses and allow their strengths to lead up to you in your areas of weakness. The greatest teams always beat the greatest individuals. One is too small of a number for greatness.
In this episode, Pastor Josh discusses the NLC Assimilation Process. As your church grows, how do you effectively make sure people aren't falling through the cracks, and that they're able to pursue discipleship.
