Takeaways from this episode…
“You’re handing away leadership and when you hand that away, you are essentially handing over control. You’re handing over culture.” - Nick Smith
“If vision leaks then culture drifts.” - Roman Archer
“We’re location led and centrally supported.” - Pablo Lopez
“Push good ideas up.” - Bobby Brown
“If you’re not receiving, check your posture.” - Roman Archer
“Being a location pastor means being in lives of those that are new to the church, those that are making next steps, and following up with those who attend each location.” - Nick Smith
We are centrally driven as a church.
You have to have a heart of submission and understand that God has placed you in leadership.
Advance the mission forward.
We are always under someone’s authority.
“We, as leaders, should only do what we MUST do.” - Dave Martin
Better over bigger.
It’s really easy to be a submitted leader when you see the kingdom advancing.
If you are sitting submitted, and you are seeing Jesus’ name made famous, that should be plenty for you.
Keep in mind the core values of your church.
