Some say that leaders can either read the room they are in, or adjust the room they are in.

We are called not only to be a thermometer, but to be a thermostat, an agent of change. You need both.

A thermometer doesn’t do anything about the situation, it just understands the situation.

A thermostat regulates the culture back to what it should be.

Thermometer’s are loose, thermostats are connected

It’s a lot easier to be a thermostat, and it’s a lot more intentional to be a thermostat.
